Object: to make a penny go right through a plate.

Objects needed:
2 shiny pennies with the same date
1 small envelope
1 clear glass
1 small plate
Anything to use as a magic wand such as a 
( pencil - straw - pen - paper clip or even your finger will do etc....)

PERFORMANCE:
On your table is a clear glass in its upright position with a glass plate sitting on top of it.

Ask someone to allow you to borrow a shiny new penny. 
Ask them to write down the date that you call out that is on the penny. Hand out the penny to someone else who can verify the dates on the penny with the date on the envelope.

Now take the envelope and allow them to drop penny into the envelope and have them seal the envelope for you. Now fold the envelope in half, and then fold it in half again. 
Now place the envelope on top of the plate that is setting on top of the right side up glass.
Tap the plate with your wand and the penny will magically drop into the glass as pictured below:

Tear up the envelope to show that the coin is no longer there. Then pass the coin around so everyone can see that the date on the penny is the same date that was read out.
